Emulsifying Ointment BP is a British Pharmacopoeia–grade emollient ointment widely used as both a moisturiser and a soap substitute. It is specially formulated to hydrate, soften, and protect very dry, sensitive, or irritated skin by restoring the skin’s natural barrier and preventing moisture loss.
It is commonly recommended in the management of eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, dry skin conditions, and as supportive care after antiparasitic or antiseptic treatments.
