Sales & Marketing Officer

Position Overview

Maesio Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Sales & Marketing Officer to join our fast-growing healthcare organization. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in expanding our market presence through online sales, e-commerce growth, digital marketing, customer acquisition, and brand development across Kenya and the East African region.

This role requires a dynamic professional with a strong understanding of healthcare sales, digital platforms, and customer relationship management, capable of driving revenue while strengthening long-term client partnerships.

 Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Generate new sales leads and convert prospects into loyal customers

  • Drive online and offline sales for pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, and healthcare consumables

  • Manage key B2B & B2C accounts including hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and corporate clients

  • Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

E-Commerce & Online Sales

  • Manage product listings, promotions, and order flow on Maesio’s online platforms

  • Handle customer inquiries and transactions via website, WhatsApp Business, and social media

  • Support the development and optimization of Maesio’s e-commerce operations

  • Analyze online sales performance and implement growth strategies

Marketing & Brand Growth

  • Create and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and online advertising platforms

  • Design or coordinate promotional materials including posters, banners, and catalogues using tools such as Canva or Adobe

  • Ensure consistent brand representation across all customer touchpoints

  • Support SEO and product content development for online visibility

Customer Relations & Retention

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients

  • Provide professional after-sales service and customer support

  • Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service recovery

  • Develop customer loyalty and retention initiatives

 Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or related field

  • Minimum 1 year experience in sales and marketing (healthcare sector preferred)

  • Strong understanding of online sales & e-commerce platforms

  • Basic graphic design skills (Canva / Photoshop / Illustrator)

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building abilities

  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and performance-motivated

  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and work ethics

  • Familiarity with Odoo ERP (CRM, Sales, Inventory) — training provided if needed.
  • Active and confident using social media for business promotion.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical and Medical products (Preferred ).
  • Professional, organized, friendly and patient in dealing with customers.
